These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which Ceylon Sights provides information, accepts enquiries, and arranges travel services in Sri Lanka. They are designed to be fair, clear, and protective of both our guests and our team.

Acceptance of terms

By using the Ceylon Sights website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit a booking request. We may update these terms from time to time, and the latest version will always be available on this page.

All content on this website — including text, images, itineraries, and pricing — is for informational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without written permission. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate, but details such as prices, availability, and routes may change without notice.

Enquiries & bookings

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee availability or a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once we have accepted your request, agreed on the itinerary, and received any required deposit or full payment. All quoted prices are in the currency shown and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

Payments & cancellations

Payment terms will be provided with your final itinerary. Deposits and cancellation policies vary by season, supplier, and service type. Generally, deposits are non-refundable, and cancellations closer to arrival incur higher charges. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected changes, illness, or delays.

Travel arrangements

We act as an intermediary between you and local service providers such as hotels, drivers, guides, and activity operators. While we carefully select partners, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, or defaults of third-party suppliers. Flight bookings, visas, travel insurance, and vaccinations are your responsibility unless explicitly included in your itinerary.

Liability limits

Ceylon Sights is not liable for any loss, injury, delay, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather, political events, strikes, pandemics, or changes in local regulations. Our total liability for any confirmed booking is limited to the amount paid for the services directly arranged by us.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising from the use of this website or any booking made through Ceylon Sights shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
